About us
Hello all!
I started sailing in college at USC (Marina Del Rey) after realizing that i could combine my engineering background with my love for the water (USC Men's Swimming Team) and desire to travel the world.
I purchased my first boat, a Santana 22', while working at Lockheed Missile & Space in Sunnyvale. I sailed my second boat, a 25' Samurai 1/4 tonner, from Santa Cruz down to San Diego before flying to Europe with my dog.
My first crew job was found in Hoorn, Netherlands aboard an 80' sailing barque chartered to a class of German students. Next i crewed on the Schooner Dan in Eilat, Israel before crewing on a boat sailing down the Gulf of Aqaba and back up through the Suez canal to the island of Cyprus.
My first Captain job was then found in Marmaris, Turkey aboard a bareboat fleet of Jenneau's. Turkey and Greece are/were an amazing place to sail!!
After a full season chartering out of Marmaris, i traveled through India, Nepal and Thailand before finding a crew spot sailing from Phuket to Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia on my way to Bali and Australia.

to be continued..
